Lawyers’ Mutual has designed a Strong Start Program to provide affordable coverage to solo practitioners who have been licensed for three years or less. We are committed to our members’ success and act as a trusted partner to provide many of the essential tools needed for your practice to prosper.

*An increase in limits is only permitted at renewal and an Increased Limits
application must be completed and approved.

Terms and conditions apply, including but not limited to the following:

  • Area of Practice restrictions may apply.
  • Engaged in the practice of law for thirty six months or less.

Rated on specific areas of practice.

Strong Start policy automatically converts to our Standard rating system after five years, including a 20% discount for members with five consecutive years
as a Strong Start member.

If you meet these qualifications, you are eligible to apply for coverage under the Lawyers’ Mutual Strong Start Program. Final approval is subject to review and underwriting by Lawyers’ Mutual of a completed Strong Start Program Program Application, including all requested attachments and additional information.
